The benchmark index of Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) closed on Tuesday at 2104.96 points, registering a decrease of 0.26%.

Trading volume reached 8.6 million shares, at a turnover of JOD 6.9 million, traded through 3,054 transactions.

Shares of 130 companies were traded, of which 38 companies rose, 43 declined, and 49 companies remained unchanged.

On all sectors level, the financial index decreased by 0.33%, the services index declined by 0.04%, and the industrial index inched down by 0.03%.

The top three gainers were the Northern Cement Company by 7.41%, Middle East Specialized Cables Company by 4.76%, and Alshamekha for Real Estate and Financial Investments by 4.20%.

The top three decliners were Ibn Alhaytham Hospital Company by 4.88%, Al Sanabel International for Islamic Investments Company by 4.76%, and Century Investment Group by 4.38%.
